Eirik Horneland: ‘There's a lot more to come'
Les Verts' coach spoke at a press conference ahead of their trip to Lens (Sunday, 3pm).
Update on the squad
Except Augustine Boakye, the rest of the squad is fit for the trip. Some of them were ill at the start of the week, but they're feeling better. Lucas Stassin remained in treatment this morning, but it's nothing serious!
After Montpellier
It's never a good thing when this sort of thing happens. But it's good to have an answer. We were in control of the match and we wanted to go all the way. The decision was to stop the game and we've got the three points we deserve. I think that's pretty fair and it's a good thing, because we need these points.
This weekend's opponents
Lens is a good team, who sold some players this winter and are trying to get their breath back. They're very well organised and play with a lot of intensity. They work hard and I have a lot of respect for this team. This will be a match between two teams looking for consistency and to find their rhythm, so I think it's going to be interesting.
The group's state of mind
The three points we picked up on Wednesday have had a positive impact on our heads. They've put us back on the pace with our rivals. It's brought positive things to the training centre and the players are ready to make the most of this trip to Lens. There's still a lot to play for in the last seven games. We're going to have to fight.
