Eirik Horneland: ‘We need to do better on the details'
Les Verts' coach spoke at a press conference following their 1-0 defeat at Lens.

The same ills
It's the same conclusion from match to match, unfortunately. We had a decent first half today. We created chances and won a penalty just before half-time. What did we miss? We're not here to regret something that's behind us. Irvin Cardona took the penalty and missed it, that's part of football. More generally, the first half was difficult because collectively Lens were more aggressive, but it was better than the second half. We fought hard in the second half, but we played to avoid conceding goals. We didn't succeed in creating anything.
The rest of the season
The level of L1 demands intensity, and we're not managing to sustain our efforts over the long term. L1 demands a lot, and we need to do better on the details, like winning a penalty, to grow. If we stop believing, the season is over. I believe in it and I hope the players do too. We've got six games left, four of them at home. They'll be tough fixtures, but there will be opportunities to pick up points.
