His state of mind

I'm really happy, really happy to be back with the team-mates I played with last year. I've kept in touch with several of them: Antho (Briançon), Gautier (Larsonneur), Léo (Pétrot), Florian Tardieu, Cafi (Mathieu Cafaro)... You name it! I can't wait to get back to playing with the team and seeing the fans again.

His return to the dressing room

I'm back with a slightly different group, with some new players who are already very well integrated, which was the group's strength last season. So far, so good!

His state of fitness

Physically, I feel fine. The rhythm is there, I'm ready. Mentally? I'm proud and happy to be here. I think a lot is expected of me. As I've always done, I'll always give my all for this jersey and do my best. I hope things go as well as they did last season. My aim? That we stay in the first division. That's everyone's priority.

The coach

I talked to him, mainly to find out how I felt, and I used video to understand his system of play and the positions of the strikers. I didn't discover anything because I watched all the games. I think it's a system that can suit me, given my speed and my pace. The coach wanted to install a willingness to play, he imposes a rhythm in training. He hasn't promised me anything. Now it's up to me to do the work to earn my place on the field.
