Irvin Cardona: ‘We know what to expect'
The Verts striker spoke to the press about the challenges ahead of Saturday's meeting with leaders Paris at the Chaudron (7pm).
The match stoppage in Montpellier
It's very frustrating because it came at a time when we were well into the game. That second goal really, really hurt them mentally. It's annoying for us that the game was stopped, because we had the game under control and we would have liked to have finished it. Some people will choose the outcome of the match. We'll see, but it hasn't disrupted our preparations for Paris.
Paris
It's hard to find a weak point in this team. Everyone watches their games, so we know what to expect. We know it's going to be difficult, but that doesn't mean we're going to wait for them in our own half. We're going to try to impose some pace on them and be very good on the counter, where I think we can hurt them.
His understanding with Lucas Stassin
With Lucas (Stassin), we really find each other on the pitch. But things are going well with all my team-mates, and we're working hard in training to build up our automatisms. It's important for us to keep playing, build up our confidence and regain it. We felt that against Montpellier.
The dissolution of supporters' groups
It's not easy, either for them or for us, because we need their support. Whether it's at home or away, they're always there. I know that they are suffering a lot from this situation, and so are we. For their sake and for ours, I hope they won't be disbanded. We support them 100%.
