One point taken in Chambéry
The reserves picked up an important point on Saturday in the 22nd round of National 3 matches at Chambéry (0-0).

Les Verts quickly took possession at the Chambéry stadium against a predictably disciplined and well-organised side. Despite having their foot on the ball, Sylvain Gibert's side struggled in the final third, conceding a few chances to the home side through minor errors.
After the break, Les Verts applied the coach's instructions, were more patient and did not force the issue. As a result, they created more chances, but each time they fell foul of a good keeper or an opponent's foot that was dragging. Without taking any defensive risks and by being serious, they locked Noa Delacroix's goal (photo) and picked up a precious point in the race to stay up.
Although, according to their coach, they are still at least four points off the pace, Les Verts are currently eighth in their group, ahead of their visit to Bourgouin next Sunday.
The coach's reaction
'We always want to win games, but getting points today was the objective, and we achieved it,’ admitted a satisfied Sylvain Gibert. It's a good point in a difficult match away from our base, where we sometimes come away empty-handed. I'm pleased with the spirit the lads showed. It was a real team game, with a lot of collective effort, and that will be our strength at the end of the season. We'll also have to be very disciplined next Sunday against Bourgouin, as we were in the first leg, if we want to pick up any points.’
